Welcome to the group collaborative learning exercise for survival on the Moon.
In this simulation, you'll use expert knowledge to make critical decisions and work with your team to achieve the best outcome.
[Activity 1] Individual Ranking: Enter your group and name, and select a specialty. Rank the necessary survival items based on the expert knowledge you've acquired.
[Activity 2] Group Discussion: Share your rankings and reasoning with your group members and discuss. Decide on your group's final ranking through discussion.
[Result Confirmation] Compare your individual and group rankings with the NASA expert's answer and reflect on a better decision-making process.
The effect of collaboration is greater when group members choose different specialties. Rather than insisting on your own opinion, try to make rational decisions by respecting and listening to the expert knowledge of other group members.

The final score is calculated by adding up the difference between your rank and NASA's official rank for each item.
(e.g., NASA Rank 1, My Rank 3 β 2 points / NASA Rank 8, My Rank 2 β 6 points) (Total score: 2+6 = 8 points)
The lower the score, the higher the probability of survival!
Writing the 'reason' for ranking each item is an important part of showing your logical thinking process.
Since this activity is part of a class, be sure to write down the reasoning for your choices.
The reasons you write will be very important evidence for persuading your group members later.
You will gain special expert knowledge based on the role you choose.
The provided expert knowledge is only a guide to help with survival. Just because an item is mentioned in the knowledge does not necessarily mean it has a high priority, and it could even have a low priority.
No matter which role you choose, the final answer (NASA expert ranking) does not change.
Listen to and respect the opinions of other group members until the end.
When making your case, clearly explain your reasoning by adding 'because'.
It's important to confidently state your opinion with supporting reasons, rather than just listening quietly.
If you have a different opinion, try to persuade with valid reasons instead of emotional criticism.
Work together to find the best way for your group to survive!
